Where do you Start When you are Building Something from Nothing?
The Opportunity
The idea and vision was there. A talented workforce, an optimized cost structure, and a more integrated global network of shared services. But what wasn’t there? Any of it. At least not yet. From desks and offices to talented employees to fill those desks and offices, the global life sciences company had to stand-up this organization…and do it fast.
The Effort
Starting with a prioritized list of business requirements, the organization was able to define an overall operating model and organizational design. We then defined the key roles, from site leaders down through process leads, and accelerated the attraction and hiring of those individuals. From there we created a leader-led process that allowed for an accelerated hiring process to concurrently hire and train individuals for the organization. From 0-60 fast? Nope. More like from 0-250 fast.
