I am Paul DeRemer and I help organizations solve problems, build momentum, and make progress.  I focus my time on partnering with leaders and leadership teams to create talent and organizational solutions to bring their strategic and operational aspirations to life.  Specifically, I help my clients address a wide variety of employee and organizational challenges resulting from transformations big and small, including talent strategies, capability building, operating model and organizational design, governance, strategic messaging and engagement, and organizational change management.

The breadth of my experiences enables me to create value for my clients.  I bring a broad set of capabilities developed and refined by more than a decade at a leading global consulting firm and through challenging, hands-on, HR roles.  I also bring a good bit of common sense and practicality.  My experiences have shaped my work philosophy, which is to enable leaders to make sense from chaos, develop practical approaches and solutions, and lead their organizations through change.  To do so, I focus on four principles:

Co-Create and Iterate – Problems can’t be solved in a vacuum on the first try.  It requires structure, discipline, and patience to create and implement the right solutions.

Do Work, Don’t Just Make Work – Some consultants tell you all the things you need to do.  I roll-up my sleeves and work with leaders and teams to bring those ideas to life.

Value Simplicity over Complexity – The world is complex, and problems are thorny, but viable solutions should (and often must) be elegantly simple.  Simplicity and practicality underpin the work I do.

Be Nice – Because, who wants to work with someone who is a jerk?

Outside of work I am a husband, father, son, and friend.  I am also a reader, skier, photographer, and occasional runner.
